Fire Safety House

Fire Station crew members visit second grade children at Boise elementary schools every year March through June. During the visits, firefighters are available to answer questions.

Children are educated about fire safety by watching a video, followed by hands-on teaching about smoke inhalation and smoke alarms. Other topics discussed are the dangers of matches and lighters and how to escape if a fire starts in the home.
